Agents have access to plenty of data and resources from their firms. They understand the trends in the market, the price fluctuations and the best times to sell. Ensure they employ these resources to give you the best deal, not just net them a quick commission.

A real estate agent is of benefit when they work out of a specific area. Most agents will have no more than a suburb or two they work in.
